A street car is not in high boost that much of the time (maybe 10% max.- or no licence, no tyres!), and for possibly 50% of the time in vacuum, with maybe another 30% at less than 5psi boost, so the engine operates as a naturally aspirated engine for approximately 70% of it's life.

Vehicle is a 1984 300ZX Turbo 3.0L V6 manual. The engine idles too high. It idles at 1400 rpm and a MT turbo should idle at 750-800 rpm. Used FSM to perform diagnostic procedure and driveability test. Manually set the idle speed by adjusting the engine speed screw on the side of the A.A.C. Also made an adjustment to the throttle valve switch.
When my 90 300zx TT is cold it runs perfect. But once it gets all warmed up thats when the problems start. It runs fine and boosts fine but the problem ok so i have my 91 nissan 300zx turbo with 100,000 miles on it and im a nissan tech so i should be able to figure this out but im sumped anyways...
